Bishop Danny Stancil has served as the pastor of the New Vision Faith Ministries in Greenville, North Carolina since 2003. Under his leadership, the church body has grown.
Under the anointed leadership of Bishop Stancil, the church has purchased land to build a new edifice. His tenure at New Vision is only a portion of his extensive history in church leadership. Bishop Stancil is a leader who will not hesitate to follow the will of God even when he is called to go into unchartered territory.
Bishop Stancil was called to proclaim the Word of God September 2001.
He is a graduate of North Pitt High School and attended Pitt Community College where he received a certificate in Emergency Medical Technology. Bishop Stancil received his Bachelor’s degree from Covenant Theological Seminary, Greenville, North Carolina. He received his Master’s degree June 22, 2014. Bishop Stancil has attended the Hampton Institute for Ministers, and various Pastors’ Leadership Conferences.
Bishop Stancil was called to the pastorate of New Vision Faith Ministries, in Greenville, North Carolina, were he has labored for almost twelve years.
Bishop Stancil has developed programs of evangelism, youth ministry and Christian education classes that include discipleship training and bible study. Worship services are held every Thursday at 7:30pm as well as every Sunday morning at 10:00am.
On May 4, 2014, Bishop Danny Stancil was elevated to the office of Bishop and Presiding Prelate of the Kingdom Connection Fellowship Convocation, Inc.
This historic occasion was held at St. Peter Missionary Baptist Church in front of over 200 people. The Kingdom Connection Fellowship Convocation, Inc. is a newly established association consisting of men and women who have been influenced by the ministry of New Vision Faith Ministries and Bishop Stancil.
Bishop Danny Stancil, is the son of the late William and Susie May Stancil.
Ephesians 4:11-13 says “And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some evangelists, and some, pastors and teachers; for the perfecting of the saints, forth work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ. Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.”
Bishop Stancil is a leader, teacher, preacher and Pastor whose ultimate goal is to maintain a relationship with God and spread the message that God is light, and in him there is no darkness.
Bishop Stancil is a leader who has conceived the vision that God has laid in his care. A leader with a God-given talent to lead people with tender mercy, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness and an exceptional way of making others feel needed.A leader who has superb integrity a thirst for knowledge and a unique way of mixing analytical with creativity.
First Lady Alice Stancil is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ulious Atkinson. She is a native of Greenville, North Carolina and was raised in the Belvoir area. She attended W. H. Robinson High School in Winterville, North Carolina. She holds an Associate Degree in Computers and a master’s degree from Covenant Theological Seminary. Lady Alice is the Owner and Director of New Vision Child Care Center. She teaches Word “Alive Bible Study each Thursday evening at New Vision Faith Ministries. As a co-laborer in the ministry with her husband, Bishop Danny Stancil, Senior Pastor/Founder of New Vision Faith Ministries. Lady Alice is the Director of Women’s Ministries where she provides leadership to the Women in the Word (WIW) ministry, and the New Member’s Orientation Ministry.
Her love for the Lord and His word is evident to all she encounters, her vision is to disciple and encourage women with the Word, equipping them to be steadfast and evangelistic in their walk and Anchored in prayer, Her life scripture is “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.” ( 2 Tim 1:7) enables her to be used by God as a vessel that someone may come to know Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.
In addition, to being a Godly helpmate to Bishop Stancil, she enjoys reading and working with the youth Ministry. As a wife, woman of God, and leader she enjoys serving and encouraging members of the church and her community.
